don't get it! If your going to buy a semi, save your money and get something better. There is a beretta that runs around 6 to 700 that would be a better option. Or you could buy a benelli M2 american for 8 to $900

I love Mossy's but I'd go with the 835 over the 9...or dare I even say it, Remington's Versa Max. I just wish they could put the safety on top like it should be on all shotguns

I know two guys that had some type of plastic part break inside them. If you can save up for a Beretta or Benelli. JMHO.
I shoot a Benelli SBE 2 and my dad a Beretta Xtrema II, great guns.

My buddy had one, and the barrel ended up warping on it..........

If you keep your eyes open, you can usually pick up a used Browning or Beretta for around 450-500 bucks..........

X2 My buddy had one and all it did was jam. Then a piece inside broke. He traded it in on a Sx3. I love Mossberg shotguns but this one is no good.

Re: Mossberg 935 Mag...???

Have one and have mixed feelings about it. Had to send it back to Mossberg due to it not firing the second shot all i got was a click. After getting it back it is working great. I am a mossberg fan but would be leery of buying another 935. IMO I'd look for a used 1187 mag if I was getting another 3 1/2 12ga

Re: Mossberg 935 Mag...???

If you're dead set on a mossberg semi, go with the 930. Fantastic gun for the money and virtually bullet proof design. They pattern very well, shoot pretty darn soft, have a super low failure rate and go for around 500 bucks. If you plan on using 3.5" loads, I'd go for the M3500 or a used SX3...

Re: Mossberg 935 Mag...???

Bought a new 835 several years ago & that will be my last Mossberg purchase ever! Gun was loosely constructed(rattled) and had problems cyycling 3.5" shells. Only good thing it was cheap to buy & patterned well. I would never think of buying another especially a semi!! I would save up & go for a Browning Gold or Win X2orX3 gas semi. Easy on recoil plus well constructed to be highly reliable for the long haul.
