Mossberg Classics 500

Gentlemen,
For the Pa up land hunter who likes pump Shotguns,
cabela's has a Mossberg Classic 500, with thumb safe, on sale for $299.99. If you do not own an upland shotgun or if you want another one, here is a good deal on a classic pump shotgun, with Oil-finished Walnet stocks. 12 Guage with 28" BBl or 20 Gauge with 26" BBl.

Re: Mossberg Classics 500

Retiredusne8,
No doubt about it the old M 500 pump shotgun is a Mossberg classic, the quality built into this little pump guns far exceeds most of Mossbergs other offerings. We had one in the old farm house gun case for us boys to use,
I never remember having any trouble with that gun, it operated flawlessly for over 40 years. At the price Cabelas is offer it, a young man learning how to hunt, can afford to purchase a new one or his parents can afford to give him a nice Christmas present without busting the bank. Glad yours is still putting down the game.

Re: Mossberg Classics 500

I bought my 20 gauge 500 pump years ago for $60 from a guy who needed to pay the rent. I named the gun 60 bucks, still take it bunny hunting once in a while. Its really all a guy needs for small game.

Gentlemen,
The one at the farm in my Grandfathers gun cabinet had an old price tag on her box, $29.95.
