OK,I will bite, what about it?

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: hunting with smooth bore

It works fine. Go shoot some paper and see how accurate it will be for you and from how far. Some guys can shoot some smoothbore slug guns 30 yards accurately; some can shoot 100. I assume you don't have changeable choke tubes. If you do, I'd replace that modified with improved cylinder.

Re: hunting with smooth bore

I second the improved cylinder suggestion... some slugs I have say right on the box., but always see what groups best for your gun

Dont knock it till you've tried it

Re: hunting with smooth bore

i third- improved cylinder- that's what you shoot slugs with- nothing else might ruin the barrel-better get some different boxes of ammo- they are all different also

Re: hunting with smooth bore

i shoot a smooth bore as well. Go get your self some Berneke KO's they are a rifled slug. Then what i did was bought one of the clip on sights, they clip on the guide rail on your gun. I put the gun in my shoulder just how i would when i shoot and then i had my dad clip the sight on the rail and adjust it so that it would cover the whole bb at the end of the barrel. I did this so that when i put the gun up in the woods i know that i was in the correct position. I shot a buck last year at about 50yrds and he never even took a step
