S & W Bodyguard .380

Just got a .380 Bodyguard by
S & W and wonder if any have any experience with one. It has the built-in laser too.

Re: S & W Bodyguard .380

Good gun. TERRIBLE Trigger and the safety is useless. I can't manipulate it at all, really. I've heard it is very reliable and accurate. A co-worker has several hundred rounds through it with no prblems at all. The trigger gets a little better after some shooting, but really S&W? I like that it has real sights too. All in all, I think you made a pretty good choice.

Re: S & W Bodyguard .380

My brother has one.
His only problem has been the laser. It did not work from new. Sent it back to the factory and took two months to return.

He will probably never use the laser anyway.

He is old school and wanted the safety, most of the small 380's don't have one. That being said, I do not like this particular safety at all. Trigger is about what I expect from a gun in this class.

He is a big Smith guy and probably would not have considered another brand. If I were buying, I would check out Tarus and probably several oters.

My wife has a Bersa, which she likes, but it is a larger weapon.
