Re: 12 gauge

Many people like their Mossberg guns, but you will never be able to0 convince me that Mossberg, and the word GOOD belong in the same sentence together.............

I guess if you like to hear the forearm rattle all day long, and guns that jam, or tear shells open then yea, it is a pretty good gun......

You can get an 870 express in relatively the same price range, and get a much better gun........

In the 40 years that i've used Mossberg's I never EVER heard any of my Mossbergs rattle, jam or tear shells open. My 12ga is 35 years old and doesn't do any of that.

My name is Moss and i'm a turkey huntin' addict

Re: 12 gauge

My Mossberg 500 always goes bang, the safety works, gun will cycle and doesn't tear shells.

Heck with a .640 choke tube, I've won my share of turkey shoots

Re: 12 gauge

really Mossy is crap.... NOT!!!

Mossy 500 is the classic "working mans" shotgun. It was made to go bang. Its not a "fancy pants" gun. But if ya like a made in usa quaility ya get a Mossy Pumpgun.

That 870 express the other HPA member spoke of is fine shotgun...if ya like a weapon that will rust on ya by the time ya walk from the truck to your blind.... The express finish has a lot of area that will [censored] up mosture and it will rust up! If ya get a "friday gun or Monday" Quality control at Remmy has gone south....

Wingmaster is different story and in a class above rest in pumpgun.

will hunt for food....
