GP 100 Holster

I recently purchased a GP100 w/4" barrel. I got a cheapo blackhawk holster. It holds the gun...but it is sloppy at best. Anyone have some suggestions for a good hip holster? I am left handed and am thinking I might like to carry on the Rt. unless it was a holster that hold the gun a little bit lower.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks,

Micah

Re: GP 100 Holster

There are quite a few holster manufacturers out there as I'm sure you know. My suggestion is to wear your revolver crossdraw. There are holsters made this way but standard holsters can have the angle altered with a pop rivet. Just a thought worth all the other replies combined! One of the advantages of a cross draw holster is that it rides up less when you sit down.

Thanks for your EMT, FF service.

Re: GP 100 Holster

Thanks guys for your input. I decided to go with a Simply Rugged Sourdough pancake, black w/IWB straps. Should be here in 3-4 weeks. I'll get a review up once I try it out.

That's an excellent choice. I carry my 4" S&W model 29 in one of those. It's a great holster for a good price.
