Brought the new baby home today!

Here she is. A Remington XP-100R. I bought it a few weeks ago for a great price and decided to rebarrel it. it is going to be my everything gun. the smith had it for a week and it was done. the work looks great. he rebarreled and installed the brake. bolt face was opened up and sako extractor installed. all that is left to do is bed it and camo dip. i am ordering the supplies tomorrow I am going to do both next week when i get back in town.

the smith fired it 4 times yesterday when he finished it and said it is a beast to shoot.

specs:

Remington XP-100R (5-shot repeater)
300 winchester short mag
Stainless Holland Quick Discharge brake
Stainless Barrel finished at 17"
McMillan stock
EGW 20 MOA base
QD rings
26" overall length
topped off with a leupold 6-18x40 rifle scope (the reason the brake was installed)

That is a nice looking rig, I'll bet it is a handful!

Man, you got to be chomping at the bit waiting to shoot it, What does it weigh?

I'm thinking double ear protection
