When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: Where to buy ammo?

Grafs is a really good place to buy ammo, as they charge you no shipping, just a flat rate handling fee around 5 dollars no matter what you buy.......

Nope, just a 4.95 handling fee........they have good prices too......I have bought as much as 500 rounds of shotgun ammo......around 100 lbs....cost me 4.95

Here is their quote from their web-site......

Quote:
We pay the freight on all orders shipping with UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground in the 1st 48 US states. You only pay a $4.95 handling & insurance fee regardless of the weight of your order or the quantity of items. In order to keep shipping costs down, we reserve the right to ship backorders via our method of choice.

Re: Where to buy ammo?

Depends what you want to get.

Sgammo.com was good for cheap prices, that said they don't have a ton of hunting ammo pe se (though they have a lot for shotgun). Ammuntion to Go, who I haven't ordered from does have a ton of ammo for hunting.

Oddly enough I tend to get it at the gun range I belong to (10% off), Dicks, Walmarts (though not much for non-handguns) or gun shows.

I recommend this site It's the one stop place for finding ammo prices, quantities, brands and more all can be sorted and current.

Enjoy!

That said I've never heard of Grafs shipping policy just being $4.99! I think I found a new source!

Re: Where to buy ammo?

only ammo i buy is for handguns and ive found its typically hard to be walmart prices...can be tough to find sometimes but they usually have 100 and 250rd packs of ammo and the price is hard to beat for jacketed ammo and brass cases...
