New Turkey Gun

I'm looking for a gunsmith in Western PA to put a Remchoke on my Winchester 37A. Want to shorten it a bit and get a new choke tube system set. Then maybe get it dipped. This is the only gun my Dad ever bought me but I haven't used it in years. I want to make it my back-up turkey slayer. Anyone got any contacts? Thanks.

Re: New Turkey Gun

I got ahold of a H&R single and wanted a rainy day turkey gun,I couldn't find anyone local,so I took a look on gunbroker,I bid $55 for a choke install,I believe it cost me another $20 to shorten the barrel to 20"and put a fiber optic bead.I believe the fella was in Ky ,I shipped and had it back in about a week. shoots right on {kicks BAD}

Re: New Turkey Gun

I don't know about the dipping but check with McCrea's in Fenelton about the choke work.

The older I get, the stronger gravity becomes.

Re: New Turkey Gun

I was planning on going to McCrea's but they just closed due to retirement last weekend. Thanks for the suggestions.
