No idea if the Blackhawk was chambered in that round or not, do know some early Vaqueros were, but they're pretty scarce.

I finally found a Uberti Cattleman (Taylor's Smoke Wagon version) in 38-40, but it took some time to finally land one and it wasn't cheap. Have an original M92 Win. in 38WCF, wanted a six shooter for some time.

The Blackhawk was made in a convertible model (38-40 and 10mm) for a special Davidson's run. I don't think it was made in any other configuration. I don't have one, but I do have a Vaquero (original Vaquero) in 44-40. Blued w/4 5/8" bbl. NIB with brown shipper if your interested.

I think they were made for Buckeye Sports. The 38/40 10mm and the 32/20 .32 mag.

Davidson's, Buckeye, Grices and other distributors. Some of this "special run" lore is hard to keep track off over the years.
