Mossberg 835 Price Check

Stock not so shiny anymore and there is a 2" inch split in the fore-end but its cosmetic only and barely noticeable. No impact on the slide at all. 28" barrel and also the smaller slugster barrel as well. Probably going to trade it in for a new Mossberg 535. Wondering what I can expect price wise in a trade in.

You would be better off selling private.I think a trade in may bring 175 to 225

Re: Mossberg 835 Price Check

Take it from someone who bought and sold firearms for almost 10 years at a local store AND at Gander Mountain. You will be LUCKY to get much more than a c-bill for it honestlly. In the condition mentioned, there isn't a gun shop clerk arond that wants to keep his job that'll give you much more than that. In 70% condition, which is the best you'll get for a damaged gun, and unfortunately that's exactly what you have I wouldn't expect to much...
