.44 mag trajectory?
Hey guys, quick question. I sighted in my .44 today, with a new red dot on it. I always shot it with open sights before. I started at 25 yards, and was hitting about 4 inches low. Moved out to 50 and was dead on elevation wise. A few shots later I had it close, and then shot the remainder of my shells inbetween the wind gusts(it was horribly breezy here). It's zeroed in at 50, dead on now. I ran out of shells, and bought more tonight, but won't get a chance to shoot it again until Sunday evening. Roughly how low will I be at 25 yards, and how high/low at 100? I know it's hard to say for certain without all the varialbes, etc, but I'm just looking for an example of what to expect. The revolver is a Colt Anaconda 6" with a Burris speed dot on top, shooting Hornady LeverRevolutions, 225gr FTX bullets. I'm going to do some research on the web, but thought some of you guys might have first hand experience.
I think I'm an alright guy, I think I'm alright
