Who is using a handgun in rifle season?

I think I will be trying to get a deer this year with the
.357 handgun. Who else here will be using a handgun for
deer season?

Good Luck to all!

I'd rather be fishing or hunting!

Re: Who is using a handgun in rifle season?

It seems a long time ago but I have killed two Pa. Deer with handguns. I bagged the first, a spike buck with a Ruger Redhawk 7 1/2" 44 Mag., and the other, a big fat Doe with a T/C Contender in 7-30 Waters. I may carry my S&W 5" 629 Classic 44 Mag. a couple days this year

I'll be carrying my scoped Ruger Super Redhawk in .44mag for deer. In fact, I'll be using it tomorrow for bear season.

I'll be carrying my 357 GP100 for sure this year. I already got a buck with my bow, and the only place I can go (DMAP) will be close range anyway.

I like handgun hunting for so many reasons.

I have a blued Taurus .357 with a 6 inch barrel I got earlier this year. 2nd week of rifle in 2d I hope to take it out when I drive and get a doe, been saving my doe tag. Good luck to you all.

Ruger Blackhawk, .45 Colt.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

I will be using either my Raging Bull 480 Ruger topped with a Burris 2-7 or my 270 win Encore pistol topped with a T/C 2-7....either will do the job nicely if I do my part.

6" 629 classic with a pro-point for me in Pa this year.

It may be a poor choice of words but I am smart enough to understand what you meant.
