Bought my son a Stevens 555 12ga for yhec competition. He has around 1500 rounds through it and it is flawless. He shoots it well.

Tri-Star Hunter 16ga, also have one in 20 and 28. Lots of miles on all of them no problems.

I carry a gun because I'm to young to die and to old to take a ass whipping.

If'n that's the worst thing that happens to it I'll consider it lucky. All my shotguns and rifle have "character" scratches, dings and even a few small gouges on them and I know exactly when and how they got them. I have a sweet little Sako Vixen that looks like it been in a war, still kills a lot of coyotes.
