removing the plug in a mossberg 500

Hey guys i want to remove the plug from my sluggun but im not sure how to do it. can anyone help. Thanks a bunch, Bill

Lifes too short to be a couch potato, So get out in the woods with a youngster and do some huntin.

I know my cousin got one of the 3 1/2 mossberg slug guns and It took me a while to figure it out. eventually I took the magazine tube cap off and started loading the magazine the regular way. eventually the plug pushed out the magazine cap. it was a piece of wood, almost like a pencil with a rubber band on it. I'm not sure if that's the right way to do it, but it worked. maybe the 500's are the same.

On the 835 instructions say to remove the end cap and shake til plug falls out. Not so sure about 500 but you could always contact Mossberg.

Thanks guys, i tried jun1ors method and it worked perfectly. Thanks alot for the help.
