Ruger LCRX .22 mag

Anybody have one?
Thinking maybe a decent trapline/trail rig.
I already have a Mk2 scoped.

I don't have the Ruger but I do have a Colt in 22 mag. The 22 mag is loud out of a handgun. It is probably the only handgun I have that causes me real pain when I shoot it and I shoot a lot of handguns. I have heard others comment about the noise the 22 mag makes in a pistol.

You should try one before you buy it to determine if you can live with the noise.

My first handgun was a Ruger Single Six in ,22 magnum........
back when I was in 5th grade.

Yup they are loud. Always wear ear protecion on the range.
Am thinking electronic ear protection when handgun hunting.

I bought mine for hunting, plinking and to carry while fishing. I usually don't wear ear plugs while doing those things but with that gun I keep them handy or shoot one handed while the other covers my left era.

BTW I do love that round. It outperforms expectations.

I popped a few chucks with a 648 Smith 6".........was my IHMSA Field Pistol gun.

Not many chucks or chucking spots around...........let it go.
Thinking I could just get a Smith 651 for a fishing/trapline rig.

Then I saw the price (did OK on my 648..........but it wouldn't have been a "one for the other").
