single shot 12 ga.

This might be an obvious question but its one I don't know the answer to so I am going to ask it. What is the giant bolt that goes through the stock and holds the receiver on called?

The problem is that I don't know what I don't know.

The bolt that holds the stock to the reciever.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: single shot 12 ga.

The next question is this, are they a universal length? Or do certain manufacterers make different length bolts?

The problem is that I don't know what I don't know.

Re: single shot 12 ga.

It would be for a single shot 12 ga H&R model 1908.

The problem is that I don't know what I don't know.
