Remington SP-10 front sight replacement?

I have an SP-10 and was wondering how to remove the original front sight? Is it threaded or pressed on? I was going to replace it with a fiber optic. Thanks.

Re: Remington SP-10 front sight replacement?

Check out the magnetic Hi-Viz sight. You won't have to remove your current one. It just fits on the rib of the gun and you can put it on right behind the factory sight without removing it. If you're thinking a magnet sight won't stay on, like I did, you're wrong. These things won't go anywhere once they're on and you can switch/choose red or green light fiber pipes in different sizes and switch them out or put a new one in if you do break one. Got them on all my shotguns.
