Remington M887?

Does any one have one of these yet. If so how do you like it? Any problems?

Re: Remington M887?

I have one and love it. Have not had any problems with it. The action is a little stiff but its a new gun, you have to expect that till it gets broken in. I have about 200 rounds through mine so far. Any other questions just ask.

Re: Remington M887?

Is the inside of the receiver coated in that stuff too? I've been reading some reviews on them and it seems like there are a bunch of mixed feelings on this gun.

Re: Remington M887?

The inside of the receiver is not coated with the polymer. Everything else is.

Re: Remington M887?

This is an interesting step in firearms and although I have read an article (American Hunter, I think) about it I don't think I understand it as well as I would like. How is this coating applied? Overmolded? baked on or what? How thick is it? Do you have to do any exterior maintanance - at ALL on the firearm?

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......
