I have a standard 1.25 x 4 rifle scope. I do not worry about bullet drop because most of my shooting is less than 100 yards. Mine is sighted in about 1.5" high at 100 which gives me a point blank range of about 150 yards.
FYI: I have shot the Remington Accutips, Federal Barnes and Hornady. Mine does not like the Hornady. It does shoot the Remington and Federal very well. Unfortunately Federal does not sell the Barnes round anymore. If you see them I would buy them. They shoot an inch higher than the Remington in my gun so if I ever had an opportunity for a long shot I could use one of my few remaining Federal rounds and "maybe" stretch the range to 200 yards. Mine is accurate enough that I would have no hesitation about making the shot.
I've been sticking with the AccuTip 2.75" rounds because I cannot find the 3" around here. The one pack of 3" I bought did shoot good. You give up about 100 fps with the 2.75" rounds which is nothing at shotgun ranges.
