Re: Browning Maxus?

I have a Browning Golf 3 1/2". If I had to do it over again, I would have bought a Benelli.

Take a kid hunting, it's the future of our sport and the future is now!

Re: Browning Maxus?

I think you'll be happy with the maxus.

You should search shotgunworld, there should be lots of posts and most people seem to love them.

I prefer gas operation. I see it as more important when the gun weighs as little as the Maxus does. Benelli will kick harder.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.

I have the Browning Silver 3 inch version and love it. Great reliable shooter. I know you asked about the Maxus but the Silver has the same basic gas action as the Maxus.

Re: Browning Maxus?

I bought the Maxus back in the spring. Haven't hunted with it but have shot some trap and clays with it and like it allot. Main reason I bought it was I had a chance to hold the Maxus, Berretta Extrema and Benelli SBE all being sold by the same dealer and compare side by side. This particular dealer sells many guns including many high end sporting guns - he said the Maxus was the only one of the 3 that he never had an issue with or was returned with a problem - I personally liked the feel of it better than the others but that is just me. I am very happy with my decision.
