NEF and or H & R now collectable

I was in a gun shop and notice that many of the H & R and or NEF pistols that might have cost you about $90.00 way back when are now worth est..$389.00.. Now that's what the guns shop was selling them for.. so if you sold it to a gun shop you ain't going to get that amount.. However for a collector they might pay that price.

So you can have a gun that ain't PURTY! Once the company closes it starts to go up in price even though it was UGLY! Some guns are ugly like the two LEE SISTERS! Ugly Lee and Homely!!!

Aw, rats! Sold a perfectly good (and very accurate) NEF heavy barrel in 223, to another member here a few years back. Now they're collectible.

Nothing wrong with it, just didn't need it after finding a good deal on a barely-used M700 varminter in 223, already had two semis in that chambering at the time.

Still have an NEF combo gun around here somewheres. 22 Hornet and 20ga barrels in a handy Cordura padded carrying case.

Some folks' learnin' curves just look like circles...3A Camp/also hunt 4B

I was lucky enough to trade a nice pocket watch for a .223 NEF. Trigger needs to be worked. Bull barrel, heavy little piece of steel.

Some of the old H&R revolvers especially older target 22 lr models can get a bit high price. The guns mentioned like the 10 ga and 223 are not collector pieces. The rifles they make are however acurate and reliable and shoot reallly well especially when usaing reloads.
