Concealed Carry Edict

Having discussed this with a few friends the subject of when and where to carry had some wide and varied parameters.
Some carry all the time and anywhere whereas others occasionally carry depending on where they are going.
What are your preferences....

If you are going to carry, do it all the time and everywhere you can. If you don't what's the point? Can you predict when you are going to need it, if so I want to talk to you about the lottery. You should also keep a gun handy at home, does not matter that nothing has ever happened yet or what kind of neighborhood you live in.

I carry everywhere I'm legally allowed. I have a firearm in my vehicle wherever/whenever legally allowed. I have a firearm near me in my home because I'm always legally allowed .

I carry everywhere I am legally allowed to do so.

If I could predict when I would need a weapon, I would just stay home that day!

I do not think my typed words correctly portrayed my sediment on this side of the question.

In my conversation with others who do not carry 100% of the time some did not carry at their place of employment, others not at their child's tee ball game (especially if they are coaching), or maybe at some formal affairs such as weddings or funerals as such.
Beyond the fact one can and should carry everywhere that is permissible under the CC permit, the rest is an individuals comfort level.

Re: Concealed Carry Edict

I think a little common sense applies here. I carry legally anywhere I can everyday. I do not open carry however and I still think it is stupid to do so. I am very hesitant to even tell anyone that I carry. My close friends and family know I carry daily because I have told them so. if your holster does not allow you to carry concealed securely and comfortably then you need to adjust something.

I carry everywhere I am legally allowed to...with the exception of work, and it is labeled as a "no gun on premises" zone. How I carry and what I carry depends on the situation, but I'd guess I'm unarmed outside of my house less than 5% of the time (exception being work)

Re: Concealed Carry Edict

99.9% of the time, I have at least one firearm on me when I walk out the door.

About the only time I don't carry, is when I go for a run. Yeah, I could carry in a fanny pack, but I'm not to that point.....yet.

Re: Concealed Carry Edict

I will not take a gun into a place serving liquor, a movie and several of my wife's friends houses who asked me not to.
Those places I will keep it locked in the car or truck.
Work has a no gun policy CEO and COO know I have it but I never wear where people could see it. I am sure if I needed to use it their insurance co. and attorneys would tell the BOD to fire me to limit their liability since I broke a rule written in the personal policy.
Going to the shore house is challenging but it is in the vehicle with me on the ride down but sits in my dresser till I am ready to come back home to Pa.
