Re: Reduced recoil slugs

I have shot a lot of them out of my police style shotgun, 12 ga. There is a noticeable drop in recoil and the accuracy seems not to be affected at all.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: Reduced recoil slugs

we used them at the range in remongton 870 12 ga. pump, lower felt recoil no change in accuracy.

use a limbsaver recoil pad or protective shooting pad and they are comfortable to shoot.

Re: Reduced recoil slugs

ive shot them mixed with regular loads at 25yds...no difference in POI (not shooting bullseyes though...)

cant speak for recoil as the gun has a knoxx stock and that sucker works pretty well...

Re: Reduced recoil slugs

that knoxx stock will take a pump gun and give it the felt recoil of a semi auto, just watch out for the "cheek slap"
if you have the spec ops stock with the pistol grip.

the comp stock works the same with out the pistol grip, both are great products.

Re: Reduced recoil slugs

I use the Lightfield Reduced Recoil slugs for deer hunting here and in VA in my 12 guage Mossberg 835. They are the most accurate load for that gun. All deer have been one shot kills with two big holes, one in, one out. I've never shot any deer over 75 yards away, so cannot say what their long range trajectory would be.
