self defense permit

I live in Lycoming Co. and have a self defense permit.Can I carry it concealed and can I carry it to hunt ? Thanks for any info.

You can carry it while out hunting as long as you have a permit. but you can not hunt with it unless it's firearms season and it's single action.....

It may behoove you to go over the laws or take a course as long as you want to carry a firearm...I never heard of a self defense permit

You may carry concealed while you hunt ... providing you have a permit to carry a firearm.

You may only lawfully hunt with a manually operated hand gun, either single or double action. You many not hunt with a semi automatic pistol.

Uh, you can use a single action, double action, single shot (T/C Contender, Encore) or even a bolt action handgun.
