16 gauge Hammer Gun

This little German 16 ga. fell into my lap the other day . It has the Jones Underlever action, 30 inch steel barrels, wedge style forearm, and a horn grip. She's broke most of the clay birds that I've shot at, and will get carried in my grouse and woodcock coverts this fall.

Very nice Grey Phase. Weight? Chokes? She looks as though she may have spent a little time with a talented fellow from the Pacific Northwest.

She weights 6 lbs. 7 ozs. and has cylinder chokes. Yes she came from Mark Larson. He knew that I was lusting after a Jones Underlever and he was regretting selling me a Model 44 Husqvarna several years ago. We swapping guns and are both happy.

The craftsmanship appears to be superb! I can find 16 gauge shells at most DICK'S stores in Maryland.

Good hunting to you!

Thanks Grey Phase. That little setter was a dead giveaway.

I hope she serves you well come autumn. It'll be here before we know it.

They just don't make them like that anymore!
Are the chambers 2 9/16"(2 1/2) or 2 3/4"?

2 1/2 inch chambers like most of my hammer guns. I reload so it's not a problem.
