Hand Gun Transfers?

What are the laws regarding sales between 2 private individuals that are both residents of the state of Pa.?I,m not sure if it is legal to do a FTF like you can with long guns.

Re: Hand Gun Transfers?

No transfer is needed between husband/wife, parent/child or grandparent/grandchild as long as both parties are residents of PA and neither is a prohibited person.

If you do not fall into one of those categories, then the firearm must be transferred through a FFL. No "back yard, over the fence" deals like with rifles and shotguns.

Re: Hand Gun Transfers?

What Steve in PA said above...I'm an FFL. Long guns need not go through an FFL for anyone as long as they are not prohibited from owning firearms.
