New caliber Super Blackhawk?

How cool would it be if Ruger came out with a production Super Blackhawk in a caliber more powerful than 44mag but still manageable to shoot? What are your caliber thoughts?
480 Ruger?
454 Casull?
How about 475 Linebaugh?!!!
445 Super Mag?
I know you can get revolvers like this from Freedom Arms but I wouldn't want to spend $2300+ on a gun like this.

Magnum Research BFR is your answer. Too costly for Ruger to R&D due to market size for those pistol calibers.

I'd love it if they would put any of the Linebaughs out! I think they are very underrated calibers.

Re: New caliber Super Blackhawk?

Smooth, I owned at one time a Freedom Arms model 83 in 475 Linebaugh. It had a 7 1/2 bbl and mag ported. With a Leupold 2 1/2X8 handgun scope it shot very well at 100 yards with factory Hornady ammo. It was a very well made quality handgun. After I had my shoulder operation I had to go back to a 44 mag. I really liked that gun. Doc in Pa.

Re: New caliber Super Blackhawk?

I just bought a super redhawk in .480 ruger.I put a ultradot red dot on it and so far I have about 60 rounds through it.It has a pop when you squeeze the trigger but it's anything but obnoxious.I think a bisley in .480 would be cool.
