Alien gear holsters

I'm looking at getting a alien gear holster for my 1911. Has anybody ever had one? If so are they good quality?

Re: Alien gear holsters

I bought one for my S&W, for the money yes they seem to be a good holster. I do own two cross breed holsters for my Sig and Glock. Personally I believe the crossbreed to be of better quality, however they do cost twice what the alien gear dose.

Re: Alien gear holsters

I have an alien gear cloak tuck 2.0 for my XDS. They are super cheap compared to other IWB holsters and given the fact everything is lifetime warranty, why not get one. I am actually buying two more this week-it saves even more money to buy two at a time if you need more than one. Awesome customer support- I email them yesterday, a Sunday, and they replied back within a couple hours

I have several and swear by them. The quality is fine and you cannot beat the warranty. Money well spent friend.

I have one that was pre-neoprene model, and like it. Have not compared it to the others. You also can can interchange the kydex on the Alien Gear's vs others that are non-interchangeable, and therefore require that you buy a new holster for each gun.

Re: Alien gear holsters

I have two of them, as well as a Comp Tac Minatour. The Comp Tac is much nicer, but it does cost over twice the cost of the Alien gear. The alien gear is just fine and any more holsters to be bought will be alien gear as well. Make sure you get the Kydex belt clips and not the metal. I thought the metal would be better, but it ended up being MUCH harder to get into my pants and over my belt.
