SBE Bolt not locking all the way open

After a day in the field with my Super Black Eagle II without issue, took it home and cleaned it up including taking the trigger and bolt assembly out. Put it back and now the bolt assembly won't lock all the way open. Didn't realize it till in the blind this morning and found it went single shot on me. It would eject the shell from the chamber, but not load out of the mag. Any thoughts on what the issue is? Took it back apart but can't get it to work right.

I don't rember having this problem on my SBE but I would pull out the owners manual and reassemble it while looking at it.
Your probably missing one small thing doing it. I know the system is real simple but sometimes you overlook something.

Re: SBE Bolt not locking all the way open

Thanks. Did it again and still not right. Have never taken the trigger assembly apart and all seems ok. Bolt seems to be catching on the carrier release instead of the bolt stop part of the trigger assembly. (E-mail sent to Benelli too)

Try taking the trigger assembly apart, and cleaning it......

Let us know what they say. I never had a problem with mine but I'm curious about what caused your problem.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Will Do......as soon as I mentioned potential trigger assembly issue, they immediately said to send it. Turn-around time is 4-6 weeks tho. Arrived in MD today!
