Remington Express 870 Improved Cylinder

I bought a used .12 gauge Remington 870 Express shotgun several years ago. It came with an improved cylinder. Can I shoot steel shot through it for for ducks?

Found this and hope it helps.

If still not sure, I would write down the serial number and call Remington.

Yes.

Remember, shoot straight and shoot often.

Yes all express barrels are OK for steel. Any choke not reccomended for steel will say so. Generally that is limited to chokes full and tighter.
