Springfield 1911A1 "Loaded" model PX9109LP

I have always wanted a 1911 45ACP...

Just sold my beretta m96fs and am putting the proceeds towards a 1911. I am pretty well set on a Springfield, and very interested in the "Loaded" model PX9109LP .

Is anyone here familar with this model? Any and all comments welcomed!

Love 1911's - never should have sold my Taurus - I know your saying Taurus!?!? But it was a great gun. That Sprig looks great whats it run price wise?

Springfield makes a great gun and you should be pretty satisfied with it.

I have an older SA 1911A1 "loaded" pistol, in black matte finish. Suits me fine, zero complaints and at the time it cost about 2/3s of what the equivalent Kimber would've set me back.

Mine is pretty fond of inexpensive American Eagle (Federal) 230gr hardball, which is also a plus for plinkin'.
