Decisions Decisions

I recently won a Winchester 1300 turkey camo 12ga and am undecided if I want to take the gun or trade it for something else. Trade-in value is $425. I would like to get a pistol and have been tossing around the idea of getting The Judge, but I also want to get a 40cal. Interested in finding out what others would do, take the gun or trade it in? I have a tight budget, so if I trade it in, I can't afford to put a lot towards the difference either.

Re: Decisions Decisions

If someone will give you 425 for it, take it before they come to their senses

You can get a Stoeger 8000 in 40 S&w for about $369.00.
Great gun for the money.

Re: Decisions Decisions

How did you "recently" win a gun that hasn't been manufactured for 7 years ???? Where did they have this thing ???

That aside and as good as they are, you won't see many, if ANY, 1300's going for $425. If you haven't wanted one all your life, take the credit and shop.

Re: Decisions Decisions

I was wondering the same thing about still having that gun on a ticket since it hasn't been manufactured since 2007. I already have a 1300 that I have had for many years and only use for turkeys. If I would take the gun, I would have two 1300's and don't think they are sought after guns to just hold onto the second one. Thanks for all your input.

Re: Decisions Decisions

Strut, do you think the gun is worth more than $425 and is a good gun?

Re: Decisions Decisions

I would take the $ add a few bucks and buy a Glock 40.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Unless, somehow, it is a NIB camo laminate, engraved NWTF 1300........ no. Not worth $425. In 2007, MSRP on a 1300 Black Shadow was about $50 less than that.

Is it a good gun ?? ABSOLUTELY !!!!

Re: Decisions Decisions

I had one of those strut. Never should've sold her. Also had an NWTF gun in an 835. Made the mistake of getting rid of her too.
