Glock preban magazine value???

Guys,
I was just on gunbroker, and noticed the below auction for 2 used Glock 17 "pre ban" magazines for $150! I have an older 17 around 1984 I believe and their saying pre Sept 1994.

So my questions are:
Why are they that valuable?
Whats the difference?
Anyone want to buy my 2 for $100?!?!?

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=196320255

Thanks for any insight

Re: Glock preban magazine value???

Since the "ban" referred to only lasted from 1994-2004, it really does not mean anything today.

Re: Glock preban magazine value???

I think it still pertains to certain individual state regs.

I read where high capacity preban mags are legal in NY but those made after the ban was lifted by the Feds are illegal.

Aren't these the earlier style that didn't "drop free" like they were supposed to? And all they have special are factory Glock +2 extenders. I guess there is a buyer for everything these days.
