We have a license to carry, not a concealed weapons permit. Ask the Sheriff the question, he issues license he would know.

Interesting question, If you could get a permit, would a person who was charged with harassment be able to possess a handgun?

If I remember correctly, all they do is run a PIC check. If you can legally buy a firearm, then you can get a LTC.

I believe if you have a felony offense on your record then you can not buy a firearm or a permit.

The summary offense of harassment should not prevent you from legally owning a handgun. Or obtaining a concealed carrier's permit, especially if it happened a few years ago, but discretion is up to your local sheriff on the matter.
