New Glock 42

Just picked up a new Glock 42 (.380). Very nice and compact. Shoots pretty darn good too. I picked up an OWB and IWB holster for it as well. I have a Glock 23 but it is alittle bulky to conceal in the summer months.
Here it is compared to my Glock 23 (.40 cal)

Re: New Glock 42

I'm looking for a more compact handgun than than the larger frames I own.
Do you mind me asking what you paid for it.
Looks pretty nice and I like the 380

Re: New Glock 42

I have three now, A Galco Stinger (OWB), a Desantis Intruder (IWB) and a Holster Store Pro Carry LT (IWB).
I paid $340 for it but it was a "blue label" gun. I'm LE.

Re: New Glock 42

Looks like a sweet little piece. Might be worth looking into for my next carry piece. What is the capacity on it?

Re: New Glock 42

...and a quick search reveals that they make a pocket holster for this. Would this really be a decent pocket gun in your opinion?

Re: New Glock 42

Single stack six mag. It's slightly larger than some of the .380's out there but it fits in my pocket adequately. Won't work in blue jean pocket however.

Re: New Glock 42

Fair enough...I have trouble putting a j-frame in my jeans sometimes. I think this gun might be going on my wish list...

Re: New Glock 42

The 42 is a really nice little piece. It is only slightly larger than the PF-9 I carry concealed now. As much as I want the 42 I'm going to hold out for the 9MM version to come out.
