Looking to try some pistols out

So I have a friend that is looking to buy a pistol to shoot Bullseye with and he's having some dificulty trying to decide what to buy. I have a Kimber eclipse target II, but he's looking at the Sig Scorpion or Remington 1911's. Just wondered if anyone in NW PA had either that wouldn't mind going to the range so he could squeeze off a few and see what they're like.

Remember, shoot straight and shoot often.
Good... Bad... I'm the guy with the gun.

Re: Looking to try some pistols out

I have owned several 1911s over the years, springfield armory has always produced some very fine and very accurate 1911s. They make a few that have already been assembled at the factory with alot of the "add-on" enhancements already done for a decent price. Their "loaded" model is top of the line and runs between 7-800 dollars. Theres alot of bang for your buck there.
