In her 50s.

My sons wife of 33 years hunted from when she was young . She started back into it a couple of years ago after her youngest daughter moved out and started her own family.
I never hunted with her and it was a shock one morning on the first day of buck she came to my room to see if I was up and ready to go ? The son never told me she was going along or that she even had a hunting license !

I had no idea what to expect!
What a hunter she is and never had a bad thing to say about where or what we were doing and just came along with us !
Since the season has been over she has won a cross bow and a Lyman Deer Stalker flintlock !
She had a ruff time using a regular size rifle [she is short and short arms] so we bought her a youth size 7mm-08 ! I can hardly wait for it to get nicer out to take her to the range with it ! She is a very good shot also .
I am looking forward to next rifle season [if she doesn't get one with her bow ?]

Looks like you guys got a new hunting buddy Willyp. My daughter is just under 5 ft. tall and has always had to use a youth stock rifle.
willyp and flintlock hunter like this.

They were won on tickets at our club . I don't live close so I don't play much but I believe these things are by a drawing after all tickets are sold to cover the cost of what ever is being chanced off .
