Janie's Stag

Been keeping this one under our hats a bit because we wanted to see how the mount came out and well frankly because it is so darn cool.
Right near the end of last deer season, Janie took a true rare trophy. A really big nontypical buck still in the velvet in mid December.
Well here is Janie's freak nasty stag. The mount is just as neat as could be with the unique pose and the antler velvet put thru a process called "revelvetizing".

Congrats Janeo , super way to end a bit of a buck drought.

Would have looked neat on the barn pic last year.

Is your wife the same Janie who is an avid Bowhunter that used to often post on here?I think she was from Fayette County.

Yes it was a PA deer on the first Saturday of rifle season.
Had only one, how shall I say it, "chesnut" and it was very small and tucked up in.
So I would say he got injured sometime that year.
