The water is back up in the creeks after this week's rain and the water temps were 54 degrees this morning. The trout were spread out quite a bit due to the higher volume and I had to fish a little harder, but they were hungry and the Black Foam Beetle fooled quite a few. Here are a couple photos. I am just in awe of the beauty of these wild fish.

H.D....The orange is an indicator so I can see it floating through the shadows. For the flies that I fish on this part of the stream I tie something bright into them, or maybe white wings, as it's pretty dark under all of the Hemlocks.
