beads for fly tieing

Are beads sold at craft stores have one hole small and one large hole. If not can you use them to tie flys

Yea u can use them, u wont get much weight out of them.....u can find alot of stuff at a craft store to tie with

Just stick with the beads from the fly shop. They don't cost much and are designed for the task at hand.

It gets annoying if you pick up some beads, only to find the hole is too big and comes over the eye.

I like to get ribbing material, and wire from craft stores occasionally. I go with Allen Fly Fishing for my beads.

Check online for bead prices at bulk amounts . . . the more you buy the cheaper they get.
