old fly rod

can anyone tell if an old fly rod can be refurbished. its been in a hard cardboard tube for a long time and is on the dry side. it was given to me by a neighbor quite a few years ago. it looks to be hand made as there are no markings on it. it has two tips, I take it for different types of fishing. also needs some of the guides wrapped again. came with an old phluger fly reel too. ive never used it because im afraid it might snap the rod. just interested if it can be redone. thanks.

I professionally restore old bamboo fly rods, if that's what this is. I can give you an honest opinion of whether or not it's worth fixing. PM'd you with my contact info...
