Excellent. +1 for being a rod builder

Re: trout adventure pics!!!

Well, you can feel every head shake and fight of the fish, all the way to the cork handle. Todays glass, is very light and sensitive. With everyone wanting the fastest and farthest shooting rod, theres something to be said about slowing things down a little and enjoy the fish bending that glass like a champ. That's why glass is making a comeback in the industry today. Full flex rods are fun, tippet forgiving, and let me tell ya, when you hook one on glass its just a great feel watching that tip bounce up and down. When I was little about 5 I guess, I would follow my pap and dad in the native streams of Cameron, and Clinton counties and they both had these rods that bend all the to the cork when they handed me the rod with the fish. Those memories are priceless, and its why I make them with the new and improved glass of today. You will see within the next yr a resurgence of this fly rod, in fact Orvis is coming out with a line of glass rods again. they will be a heck of a lot more than mine.
thanks for checking out the pics everyone.

Re: trout adventure pics!!!

grouse is definitely a lot of fun to fish with! Even though he has out-fished me since I was old enough to carry a rod, he is still my #1 fishing partner. However, now that he has that [censored] camera (trust me he can get annoying with it ) maybe I could finally out-fish him! Can't catch 'em if your line ain't in the water!
Can't wait to fish the river with grouse and our Dad on Father's Day. Memories that will never fade!
