Re: What's hatching on Kettle?

I'll be up Thursday evening through Tuesday...and I'm hoping for the green drakes!

Finn...Maybe you should just go up anyway. Great therapy, and a wonderful way to remember you uncle. He'll probably be watching down on you if you go!

Re: What's hatching on Kettle?

Start downstream, move upstream to find the hatch. It progresses upstream as the hatch continues. Stream conditions, depth and air temperature will affect the normal progression.

Re: What's hatching on Kettle?

I know all about the upstream progression of the drakes. I always found it interesting -- and also like the predictability of when they will be in certain sections of a stream.

Incredible hatches and fishing on Kettle Creek. Still some March browns, caddis, BWOs, green and brown drakes too!
