Juicy trout morsal

Tied on a #10 Daiichi 1120 the caramel translucent bug body (cat gut) makes for a plump little treat for the trouties...

Nice, do you fish it in the skim like a spider or weigh it down to tumble like a nymph?

I detect one major difference between your flies and mine --- Mine look pretty good from a normal distance but close scrutiny reveals a load of "messiness." Yours look great at a distance and downright superb up close! Keep 'em coming.

Thanks Crawford, I weight these with the lead sheeting cut into 2-3 mm strips. I then use utc 70 in white to lay a smooth underbody for the cat gut.
