Couple of new videos from some local fishing. Please don't laugh too hard at the end of the first one

I love to fish both of those streams. Especially Meadow Run. Dunbar is one of the most slippery streams you can fish. Both are usually a good time.

Actually I think Slippery Rock is much more "slippy"!

Me and a buddy went to Meadow Run this am. Between he and I we must have tossed over 40 different flys at the water......nothing.....nada.....no even a roll!!

But it was a tough day as 4 other guys we ran into caught nothing and one guy caught two.

However....it was a great day to be out on the stream!!

Nice videos. I traveled out to fish the Dunbar several years ago when the Cicadas were out and about. That streams has some picture perfect pools with the big boulders and ledges. Just did okay fishing a Cicada pattern, seem as though the trout were not use to looking up. May be that the Cicadas were rather sparse up in the fly fishing section.

You are not alone on snapping your fly rod. I too snapped mine last Sat. Just bought the rod this spring. My other fly rod I have had for 40 plus years with no incidents---"knock on wood".
