Crayfish Fly Pattern

Hello All,
This is a crayfish fly that I developed during the time I lived in NW PA.

Those look great Peter. The trout in my area would really love them with more of a green hue to them. The river small mouths would love the brownish tone. Great job

Most of the creeks around me, those flies would SLAM trout of all kinds; wild, native, stockies, any fish that saw them would crush them. So would the smallies in the local creeks. I'm a lazy tier myself. A few rusty brown woolly buggers with a nice fluffy hackle wrapped around the hook eye for my crayfish patterns, but you are almost making me a convert to these ultra-realistic patterns!

A bad day hunting rabbits beats a good day of anything else!

Look good enough to boil up a couple dozen.
