Is this legal?
I just saw this on the news. Is this legal? Isn’t there laws preventing using game animals for something like this? It just seems like we shouldn't be taking wildlife to directly benefit any business corporation wether profit or nonprofit. It feels like an exploitation of natural resources.

Seems like it would encourage people to fish more and waste them.

I’m just uneasy that a business can benefit directly from the harvest of a natural resource.

It also makes me uneasy that this may encourage more humane societies to ask for similar things. A potential although unlikely side effect of this could be unknowing do-gooders stumbling into some of our native brook and brown trout streams to potentially harvesting the creel limit on multiple days a year to feed stray dogs, cats, possums, raccoons, etc.
