Drowned adult

I've tied this pattern to represent a drowned something of summer, a time when the trout have gotten comfortable seeing any manner of insects both terrestrial and aquatic. It's unweighted as to be run in the shallowest of sections. Mostly I've put it under a curly style sighter and fished it out there as far as feasible. It's been a reliable pattern to fish and so far I've been pleased with the outcome. Although, as you all know we have not had a shortage of rain around these parts...

That tie looks really good. Looks like you could use it in a multitude of situations. I think it would do great during a Grannom hatch. What size did you use looks maybe like a 14 curved hook. Nice job!!
