orvis clear water vs scott flex

I am buying a fly rod for my brother for Christmas in a 5wt and have it narrowed down to these two. The Orvis Clear Water vs the Scott Flex. I have always been a Orvis guy but was have not used the Clear water and after looking into this Scott rod I was thinking of going that direction. I have both set aside so with a few days left till Christmas was are your feelings? Thanks for the advise and Merry Christmas.
